And for hosts, we make the event planning process easy and engaging: Invite entire groups with a single click, utilize features that drive engagement and dramatically boost revenue, and more. Whether it’s a weekly run club, a housewarming party, or a professional networking event, Live Time gives you the tools to bring people together for meaningful, real connections.
We first launched at UChicago last year, and soon after spread to over 20% of the total undergraduate population. This year we have expanded to 16 new universities, where students have hosted hundreds of events. We won $160k, the largest investment in history, through the College New Venture Challenge, which produced companies like Grubhub, Braintree-Venmo, SimpleMills, and more, and have since raised from investors like Matt Cohler, Rachel Holt, Andy Dunn, seed investors in Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, LinkedIn, Uber, & more.
